Tokyo Kawaii Romantic Date Look | Lookie Looks
Yeah, this one's not crazy enough to be called Lookie Looks, but still, it calls for that special someone of yours to give a double take and appreciate the effort you have done for your date. Weather be it for the V-Day or on any other occasion, I think that the Tokyo Kawaii look is perfect to let that flirty girly side of yourself show.
Heck, if I knew how to apply makeup when I went on my first Valentine's date with my ex-boyfriend(now husband), I think this is how I would've looked like. At least I would've had this lip color and mascara on if I'm being realistic, cause back then(and until now) I appreciate myself even if I didn't wear makeup. :D
Click read more to see what I used here:
I used a range of Pixy Products here, like the eyeshadow duo Romantic Poem for the eyes, the lighter one as an all over shadow and the darker one as crease definition. I also used the Pixy Waterproof Mascara for those naturally flirty and long lashes.
For the cheeks I used the Pixy Blush in Carnation Pink which gives off a coral-ish natural color to my cheeks. This is the perfect blush for those who are just starting with makeup and is kinda scared that they might "look like a clown" as it is very light at first but is also buildable. It also doubles as my highlighter due to the very tiny shimmers it has, giving the skin a nice subtle glow.
As for the lips I wanted something coral-is pink, and so what I did was first put on a thin layer of Color Collection's Kissmark and blotted it once, then I put on Pixy's Semi-Matte Lipstick, Misaki, blotted it again and viola!
You're date ready! All you need to do now is to let that natural persona of yours show para mas lalong ma-inlove si crush or special someone!
Happy Valentine's Day!
xoxo,
Nicole
