Collection Cosmetics Bright and Glow Compact Foundation |Nitty Gritty Reviews
So here's part two of my Collection Cosmetics Bright and Glow Review. This time I'll be focusing of the partner of the BB Cream- the compact foundation. :)
The Nitty Gritty: (as taken from Zalora's Page)
Get naturally radiant skin with the Bright & Glow Compact Foundation from Collection. This foundation is ultra blendable and it provides shine-free and flawless effect all day.
- High coverage
- Contains light reflective powder and mineral powder
- SPF 20
Look and Packaging:
As it's BB Cream counterpart, this compact has a large mirror which is very handy, and is also endowed with bright yellow and blue spots which spell out FUN! :) And it looks fresh as well with white as it's main color, and looks like it comes with the promise of brightening and fun in the sun.
Coverage, Finish and Swatches:
Coverage is light to medium, and it comes in 4 shades, Vanilla, Ivory, Almond(which I am gonna be reviewing) and Honey. The shades are more on the yellow undertone which I think is super awesome :D I honestly think that Honey would better suit my skin, but I'll let you guys be the judge with my swatches. :)
*No Foundation*
*Side with foundation to your left, without foundation to your right*
I made it so one side has no foundation and the other has the Collection Bright and Glow in Almond on another side. :)
Price and where to buy:
Got mine from a friend, but I saw these selling in Robinson’s Department stores and Watsons as well. Just look for the stall of Collection Cosmetics. :) I’ll be updating the exact price of this but as of what I remember, I think it’s around 349.00 Php in Zalora.
Overall:
I like this better than the BB Cream as it has better coverage by itself and is a great setting powder for my other BB Creams and foundations too. The promise of instant brightness to the face is there, and it looks pretty great :)
The SPF20 is a bonus as this proves that it is perfect for the summer that's to come. Although it's also a downside as it can make you have a floating face with flash photography due to the SPF.
It can last at around 3 hours on the daily commute, after that you'd have to blot. Or if you're riding the MRT on a rush hour, don't bother blotting, just reapply this with a fluffy brush for a lighter and more even application.
I'll probably repurchase, just to try out the darkest shade, and this is great as an everyday powder. :)
