Samwon Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker Review |Momma Techie
It's been 3 months since I've had this speaker with me, and I think that it's a long enough time to have properly used the product and give you guys a proper quality review.. :3
This is Samwon's Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker, which I have used on numerous occasions, and I even had it with us on our hike in Majayjay Falls.. :) But first, let me give you guys the specifics and what it claims it can do:
I tested it and played with it around and all I can say is that I'm REALLY IMPRESSED. :D I mean, for a speaker to claim itself bluetooth portable and waterproof is a bg deal already and so you'd think that it's pricey, but it really is actually the most affordable of them all. The sound is pretty crisp, but the volume depends on how loud your connected device can be. :)
I also played with the speaker phone part and it's nice if you want to go wireless in the car, but then, I'm not much for that cause I usually connect this one with my iTouch...
It can also work for devices without bluetooth, cause it comes with a 3.5mm Audio Cable. Mind you, the cable's a bit small but it does the job. :)
It's also pretty easy to know if the speaker is connected as there are certain sounds that indicate it so.Same goes for when it's already low battery, while playing some music, you can hear a beep-beep-beep that indicates that you should plug it in already.
It lights up red if it's charging, blue if it's on bluetooth mode and green if on aux mode.
Overall, I love it cause:
And have I mentioned it's very affordable at a price of 1920.00 Php... And considering that some can go up to 10,000.00 Php for a waterproof portable bluetooth speaker, this is definitely the one you have to go for if you're in a tight budget or just don't want to shell out a lot of cash for a great speaker. :) #WaterproofSpeakerNgMasa hehehe
This is available at all Samwon Appliance Stores nationwide and also in Lazada.ph and Goods.ph :)

- Bluetooth Portable(range:10m from device, Bluetooth version 2.1)
- Hands Free Speaker Phone
- Dynamic Stereo Sound; Full Range Speaker
- 5-8 Hours of Play time (Battery:3.7V, 1000 mAh) ; Rechargeable Battery
- IPX6 on the Ingress Protection Scale (see my post about IP Labels here.)

Overall, I love it cause:
- it's really easy to use
- ultra portable
- kicks out louder, clearer audio than a speaker twice its size
- extreme cold weather (A.K.A. Rainy season here in the Philippines) would not affect Samwon’s performance

this is nice. it's best not just for moms who have small kids (who loves to put anything in water) but also for peeps who love to go outdoors as well. such an affordable price too!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds really good – and affordable! I’m not a speaker person (more of a headphones type), but this will make a good gift to my SO.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very useful product so I'll keep this is mind when the need for it arises.
ReplyDeleteThis is the 1st time I've encountered this brand / product. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is interesting. I'm not much for using speakers but my hubby is. I'm gonna tell him about this. :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't used any bluetooth speaker yet but this makes me excited to claim my own (from Capdase) which I won from our CBC anniversary party. hehe
ReplyDeleteawesome review! But curious though, were you able to test if it's really waterproof?
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I heard of this brand. We're currently looking for speakers also and we'll consider this :) Thanks for sharing!
