Sinirangan Coffee Shop: Hidden Cafe in Baclaran Church
There are a lot of coffee shops out there today, because more and more people are loving coffee by the minute. And I love the way how Baclaran Church has answered their church comers' need for coffee and snacks after a mass. Let me introduce to you guys, Sinirangan Coffee Shop.
Nestled under the Bell Tower of Baclaran Church is this hole in the wall coffee shop. A perfect place to hang out and bond with mom and dad over a cup of coffee and frappe, or maybe with the barkada. Afterwards you can go ahead and give thanks to Him or pray the novena to the Mother of Perpetual Help.
Pichi and I went here last month, because why not. :D So it was a sort of date after work. Here's what we had:
Moist Chocolate Cake (120Php)
[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Moist and YUMMY![/caption]
[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Their sandwiches are at 50-60 pesos :D #sulit[/caption]
Caramel Frap (Non Coffee)
[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="427"] My favorite drink: Cream Based Caramel Frap[/caption]
[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Spaghetti with BBQ[/caption]
[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="640"] perfect accompaniment to your coffee: Blueberry Cheesecake[/caption]
[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Java Chip Frappe Cream Based[/caption]
They have pretty affordable prices, probably because as it is owned by the church there is no tax, or so I've been told.
You can also go up the bell tower and even dine there if you want. I recommend this especially at night time. Just please avoid the hours of 3PM, 6PM and any other time the bell might ring. It's REALLY LOUD. I know cause I've been there. :D
Price VS. Quality Vs. Quantity, I'd say it's a WIN! Plus points for the fact that a portion of the coffee sales here go to charities and typhoon victims around the Philippines.

And then we went back another time, because Pichi was insistent that I try out their Spaghetti with BBQ (120Php, serving for 1 GUY) which I really loved because it was the best mild-sweet spaghetti that I have ever tasted and their BBQ doesn't disappoint.

That day, what we had was the Java Chip Frap (non-coffee), but I really prefer the Caramel Frap more. This is my preference though, and I usually don't like or order coffee based frappe's in general. :D
