The NIX Stop: Tara na sa 'Beer House' | Crafted Brews of Beer
ME: "Mag Christmas party kami Pichi."
Pichi: "Saan?"
Me: "Malapit sa Ace Water Spa."
Pichi: "Eh saan Dun?"
Me: "Sa Beerhouse. " XD
Such is the story of how I found myself to be laughing, hours before I was on my way to PBNet's Christmas Party which is held at Beerhouse | Kapitolyo Brewing Co. last December. It was a very fun affair, and to be honest, the name is very fitting as it is a 'house' full of Crafted Brews of Beer. It was one of the best nights of my life. :D
Interiors are very cozy, chill, and very original. Love how they try to teach us 'averagefolk' (AKA: Yung mga tungga lang ng tungga gaya ko hehe) on what are the basics of beer. I feel though that we can appreciate beer more if we can have classes, like the ones for wine appreciation. :D
**They have an upcoming event- HOMEBREW 101 by JAN. 28, 2017 where we can learn how to create our own batch of beer. Check it out Here. **

The pasta that they serve is great for pulutan. I got to try the Seafood Linguine(240Php) which I feel tastes better than the Truffle Futucinne(250Php). But that's because I really favor the Squid Ink pasta and calamares on top of said pasta, rather than the flavor of truffle oil. :)

The PERFECT Pulutan partner to your drink (I got the Brown Ale by the way), is this. I am and always will be a sucker for Chicken Wings (240Php), and they also have a nice cool cream cheese dip to lessen the spicyness. An alternative to this would have to be their Crispy Chicken Skin. Also, they have a couple of chips to choose from that you can order ala carte- Truffle or Salted Egg. :D All 3 are only 120Php per order.
[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Original Buffalo Chicken Wings[/caption]
[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Eggplant Pizza[/caption]
For their pizzas, they serve them THIN and so crisp. VEGANs UNITE! The Eggplant Pizza honestly doesn't taste like eggplant, but more of a breaded mushroom, which is so awesome. I am attempting to recreate these fried eggplant slices because you can dip them into anything and they taste so delish. :D Hooray for those who want to say 'Diet ako eh..' , no more reason NOT to eat pizza. XD
If you want actual meat though, their Pepperoni Pizza(260Php) is THE BOMB. Nothing more to say, except.. "Pass me some Tabasco please. :D "
[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Pepperoni Pizza[/caption]
[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Brown Ale[/caption]
Although they serve a range of brewskies, they also have their own creations- the Brown Ale, and the Session IPA. Unfortunately, I only got to try the Brown Ale because I didn't want to be too trashed before going home. You see, I live far from Kapitolyo and it's a long ride home. :D All I can say is it's more robust than the Juan Brew, which I had tasted before at The Wild Juan. Also, Red Horse is WATER compared to this. hehehe
Weather you're looking for a place where you can sample crafted brews at your heart's content, a barkada night out hangout, or a place where you can say to your wife, "Dear, mag date tayo sa Beerhouse, para makita mo kung saan kami tumatambay ng barkada.", BEERHOUSE| Kapitolyo Brewing Co. is the place to be. :D #GoodTimesAhead
