Achieving Your Child's Full Potential and Build Tommorow's Greats with Promil Four
Every child is hardwired for different gifts. Some excel academically, others in art, and some in socialization. Our job as parents, uncles and aunties or grandparents is to recognize and help further that gift. As well as have our kiddos earn their greatest potential yet. Promil Four understands this role of ours to play and as partners in our endeavor they organized this workshop last November 9th, aimed to educate and remind us parents on the importance of building a strong foundation for our child's learning abilities.
The Promil Four Learning Camp also noted how important nutrition and nurturing plays a vital role with supporting our child's advanced learning abilities and brain development.
We learned more than we realized by experiencing these very same things that can help nurture the gift of our children. You can check out more of what happened in the video above.
We had an art class, aimed to have the seeds of imagination develop into something that's amazing as well as to encourage recognition and memory. The way the art class was presented with telling a story of sorts helps a child 's memory to develop while doing repetitive practices as well as painting.
The Yoga class was a way for our children to learn in a multitude of ways as you do balances and coordination, focus, concentration, mind, and body connection. Aside from that, it's a great stress reliever not just for guardians but as well as the kiddos. And if kids can learn how to handle their stress better (and believe me, kids do have stresses too), we can expect to have lesser tantrums. ;)
We also played a giant block game which focused on developing social skills for better learning. The point is to create a house with the blocks with a twist: NOBODY SPEAKS ANYTHING. This imaginative game can promote strong leadership qualities for our children through their imagination, communication, and collaboration.
We had a couple of experts in the field who gave out their advises and talekd us through what to expect for the day. Dr. Christia Padolina is an OB-Gyne and Associate Professor at UERM. Dr. Padolina who noted on the importance of the first 1000 days of the child and how crucial it is.
Dr. Tippy Tanchanco on the other hand is a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician who talked about a child's Basic Brain Development, and the 3 important Rs namely:
Reasoning, Resilience, and Responsibility.
Reasoning:
- Love For Learning
- Skill At Learning
- Communication
Resilience:
- Self Knowledge
- Worldliness
- Comfort with Complexity
Responsibility
- People sense
- Goal Setting
- Open Mindedness
