What's In The Box? | Asus Zenfone Max M1 Unboxing
HEYA! So last month Asus officially launched their latest phones, but for this post, we're going to scratch the surface on the dubbed "Battery King" of Asus phones, the Zenfone Max M1.
The Zenfone Max M1 is priced at 8,995 pesos and I am loving the aesthetic of the packaging. It's just so minimalist, sleek and gorgeous, which gives a lasting impression for me. Pichi likes it cause it's colored blue, I like it cause it reminds me of a high end packaging of makeup. (forgive me, I think I am now addicted to said cosmetics hahaha)
The Unit itself is metallic and plastic in it's build, and what I like the most about matte finishes is that there is less chances for fingerprints. It has a 5.5 inch, 16:10 screen, which really looks polished. I also like that it's not too large for my hands.
It has a speaker grill and charging slot at the bottom, the volume and power button on the right side, the microphone and sim tray on the left and the headphone jack on top. The sim tray can house 2 sims + micro sd card for storage expansion up to 2TB.
Specs wise, I'll leave it down, but in layman's terms, it's nice enough, with a 3GB ram (memory, or how much data it can multitask) and 32 GB storage space. The screen is a 5.5 inch HD + IPS display, 1440x720px resolution and a 2.5 diameter curved display. The weight is 150g, and this is called the battery king cause this baby has 4000 mAh worth of power.
Android 8.0
5.5-inch HD+ IPS display with 1440 x 720 resolution
2.5D glass
16:10 aspect ratio
Qualcomm Snapdragon 425/430 CPU
Adreno 308/505 GPU
2/3GB RAM
16/32GB internal storage
expandable up to 256GB via microSD (dedicated slot)
The Battery King is OTG supported, and it is apparently so good that Gerald Anderson said in the launch that you can use this to power up your other phones. I'll also check out what he meant by that later on in the week. :D
You can now get yours in all Asus Stores Nationwide :D

So What's in the Box?
Upon opening what you get is the jelly case for initial protection then when you lift it you get to the good stuff, the unit itself. What I have here is the Zenfone Max M1 in Deepsea Black, a matte, blue-black finish.
Digging further below and we have the inclusions of an earphone, USB to Micro USB cable and a travel adapter.

Did I mention that the Zenfone Max M1 has a Dual Lens camera? One stores a usual 13 mp and the other is an 8mp, 120 degree for wide angle shots. More Wefies, More FUN! The back houses a fingerprint sensor, but I am not yet sure if it can double as a scroll. We'll see in my upcoming review ayt?

Oooo! I love unboxing posts! I'm actually thinking of getting a phone similar to this one so this was really helpful. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteIt looks sleek because of the 4000 mAh. I do love the packaging and a plus factor is that it's blue! Honestly, I envy the color of the phone! Blue-black looks elegant and chic. I honestly cannot wait for your upcoming review!
ReplyDeleteAsus is indeed a durable phone. I passed my Asus Zenfone2 on to my youngest and it has been dropped, banged and everything you can imagine but it's still working perfectly fine. I like the look of this new phone as well. Also interested in their latest releases.
ReplyDeleteASUS has been on a roll lately! Their latest phone releases have proven that they really listen to their beloved ZenFone fans. Who knew that you could get a phone with a 4000mAh battery for under P10,000? I also love that they didn't force the notch on every single phone they have.
