What if it was necessary for your survival to give up Wifi, Phones and Tablets? If it might cost you your life... Can you handle it?

Ang Babaeng Allergic sa Wifi is one of those films that will make you rethink about our life today. At least, when it comes to socialization and our dating game right now. Me and a few friends got to watch an advanced screening at the SM Megamall Director's club last week and here is my no-spoiler review!

Norma (played by Sue Ramirez), the protagonist is diagnosed with a rare Electro Hypersensitivity syndrome, which makes her "allergic" to wifi. She is forced to live to the outskirts of a remote province to keep herself healthy.

With that, she certainly had her eyes cleared and the antennas off as she had to reevaluate her relationships, especially with the boy who she believes to be her one true love.

Honestly, it may be worse than today's Long Distance Relationships, and you will definitely be in a roller coaster of emotions when you watch it. Especially with the twists and turns that this movie has. You'll also be constantly thinking what you would have done if you were the one who has to leave your phone, wifi and internet behind to live a longer, healthier life. It is so good that some of my friends even cried at the end of the movie!

Made as an official entry to the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino 2018 by Cignal Entertainment, Ang Babaeng Allergic sa WiFi is Cignal Entertainment's first venture into a full-length film. Octobertrain Films has been exclusively producing Jun Robles Lana's passion projects since 2007 and The Idea First Company is a content creation that produces feature films, television series, commercials and digital content and strategy for the Asia-Pacific region are the companies behind this film.

Jun Robles Luna and this work of his is definitely one for the books! I recommend watching it not just for the love story that is within, but this one will definitely make you think and revisit the time when there was no tinder, no instagram, no facebook and most definitely no wi-fi.
