Celebrate ART-ic HUEniverse at SM Baliwag
Last friday, SM Executives poured some color onto their model icebergs, signaling the launch of SM Baliwag's Arctic HUE-niverse Campaign. This is SM's efforts to help educate and remind the masses about the on going global warming, along with some facts and ideas about our friends in the Arctic, the Polar Bears.
Art definitely meets nature with the life sized polar bear statues . These were painted by the talented painters fro Guhit Pilipinas, Bulacan Cchapter, and sponsored by Boysen Philippines. Said Polar bears are presented in a futuristic Memphisand Plexis art, with a size of 4ft in height and 8ft in length, the usual size for a polar bear.
A joint project of SM’s North Luzon Malls, the World Wildlife Fund, and Boysen, ART-ic HUEniverse aims to raise awareness, while bringing moments of connection to people with the Polar bears as part of the wildlife in one unique experience.
You can take your photos in the installation, and you can also know more about the polar bears via the QR codes beside them. Just point your phone and it features trivia of the arctic world, facts on polar bear life and other wild life. This is in collaboration with International Non-Governmental Organization World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is recognized for its strong effort in preserving wildlife in the arctic such as polar bears through the Arctic program. Some of their goal is to work with communities throughout the arctic to help them deal with the effects of climate change, support research, and bring northern to a global audience; support patrols around the Arctic to keep people and polar bears faring as the climate changes, as well as advocate for a full switch to renewable energy and working to protect the Arctic habitats that will be most resilient to change.
