Miniso 4 in 1 Multifunction Makeup Brush Full Review and Price
Traveling with make up is a must have for me, but usually I carry a LOT of makeup brushes. Now while I was walking around Miniso in SM Mall of Asia, I found this interesting brush set. It looked to be a promising travel brush and after asking you all if I should get the Foundation Brush or the Blush Brush, I went with the latter.
The Miniso 4 in 1 Makeup Brush
So you can see the variety of the brushes that Miniso has for this set HERE. I liked it at first glance cause it seemed to solve my travel woes. You have a main brush, in this case it is the angled blush brush, a concealer brush, a "flat" contouring blush and a flat eyeshadow brush for packing in color for the eyes.
They didn't really bleed when I washed them for the first time. The brushes are synthetic which means cruelty free, but they do feel a bit flimsy and light. It is a double edged sword cause while it means better for your travel kit, I have a bit of trouble handling it cause I am used to brushes with a bit more weight.
Price and Where to buy the Miniso 4 in 1 Makeup Brush
You can get this at any Miniso near you for 179 Php or for roughly 3USD.Overall Functionality
I am 50/50 about this brush. On one hand, the blush/contour brush is really good cause it can blend pretty well. It is synthetic so the bristles don't pick up pigment as good as the other brushes I am used to. It is also a little less dense than my other brushes, but I can get that since it is for blushing and not really for powdering.
The quality of the tiny brushes are the same as the blush brush, except that it is more dense. It does a decent job of applying and blending especially if you are in a rush.
However, when it comes to the tiny brushes that make up the blush handle, I really thought that I can rearrange them for some reason.Unfortunately, you cant re arrange the brushes. Which means that you are stuck with three tiny brushes to use for your eyes and lip.
Final thoughts:
2.5 out of 5 starsWhile this brush is great for travelers out there who needs to save some space in their vanity kit, it kinda bummed out on the length of the tiny brushes. Since you can't rearrange them to have whatever you need on top and use the other two tiny ones as a handle, you're stuck with difficulty in maneuvering the brushes, especially when using it for the eye area. Kinda feels like using top quality kid's makeup toy if you know what I mean.
So while it is a nice emergency travel brush, I think I would still love to have the option of using my other brushes.
Hope this review helped you out!
