Overnight at Zen Homes Fort Victoria BGC

Bonifacio Global City is really nice because it reminds me of the streets of Sakae, Nagoya in Japan. You will find top tier restaurants, tall office buildings, parks and a couple of surprises around the corner.

A stay in the heart of Bonifacio Global City is usually expensive, and finding budget hotels here seems to be almost impossible.

An option that you have if you want a budgeted staycation here is to rent a condo unit for a day or two.

My husband and I really wanted to do a photowalk and foodtrip during my birthday, so BGC it is. I booked a room in Fort Victoria Global City via Zenrooms so that I won't have to worry about the traffic going back.

Plus points that it is at least 50 % cheaper than the usual hotel you might find in the area.

The Room at Fort Victoria and Location

Fort Victoria stands between the residential buildings of Pacific Plaza, The Beaufort and the Embassy of Singapore. It is a three tower residential condominium. Our room is a loft type unit with two bedrooms and two toilets with one shower. One of the toilets is along the living room/ kitchen area and another is on the loft area of the unit.

There's a convenience store and a Gong Cha franchise near the lobby, so you have snacks covered. You can also opt to walk a bit to the Fort strip or to Mercato Central just like what we did.

What really made me fall in love with the place is how light the room is with the white and glass walls.

Checking in was easy, as I just contacted the person in the official email Zenrooms sent. When I got to the lobby, I just showed them my ID and we were escorted to our room.

Usually, there's wifi in the unit. Unfortunately, there was no signal coming in from the wifi. Good thing that my husband has his Globe Prepaid wifi to let me surf a bit. Globe's signal in this specific unit though is really low.

There was also a flat screen TV and kitchen utensils you can use to cook with if you want. The showers also have their built in shampoo and body wash dispensers, and there's at least 2 towels given to the guest for their use. I think you can request for more towels if needed via the contact in the email that Zenrooms sent.

How to go and Price of Fort Victoria BGC per night:

The nearest bus stop within Fort Victoria is Fort Victoria Bus Stop near Sunlife Building or the one in The Fort strip.

Usually, the price of this unit is at 3200 Php per night, but you can also wait for deals when you sign up in the ZenRooms App. There are also other hotels in the app, like the ones at Selah hotels that offer a great room for around 1000 Php or less!

The pool looks nice, but I didn't try it out cause it was a pretty cold november night. And we checked out early cause the kids are a bit rowdy and we're needed home. hahaha

Overall, I'd say that once you let go of the freebies you get in a hotel like free breakfast and gym or what not, I think the stay is pretty worth it because of the location- everything is walking distance from restairants, to parks and even SM Aura, if you're up for a 5 min walk
