FULL REVIEW: Detail Cosmetics Powder Pout Collection VS Sunnies Fluffmates

 

Detail Cosmetics is reborn to be a stylish and minimalist make up- a big change from their previous packaging and style from before. And with this, they relaunched with one of the biggest collaborations to date- twelve awesome content creators launched their own shades of lipstick- the Detail Cosmetics Powder Pout. 

Variations and where to buy your Detail Powder Pout

The whole collection has 12 shades to pick from, each name and shade derived from our top vloggers. You get an extra cute and classy acrylic lipstick holder if you get the whole set. Each lipstick costs Php 199 and the whole vault was on sale for Php 2,388. 

The packaging is a definite collectible, from the vector images that represents the aesthetic of each vlogger, the icons atop and below the boxes and the sleek, square and frosted lipstick with a touch of personal signature on the bullet.

Swatches and formula

These lipsticks from Detail give off a soft, suede and powdery matte finish. At the same time it is also very creamy, which  you can see with the bullet itself getting some slashes when you use them. Extra caution is a must to preserve their beauty. These smell like salted caramel and is an extra personality of these lippies that I really love.

They are all nude shades, with the lighter shades needing two layers for full coverage, the darker ones only need one. Personally, I am wishing for more variation like maybe an extra red shade- but then again I do have too much reds in my collection already. Hahaha!

They all leave a nice tint on the lips though, so even if you eat you can be sure that there is an even color on your lips. Still, I recommend that you retouch after eating- especially if it is something really oily.

Ms. Martha mentioned that these Powder Pouts are a nice dupe from the Sunnies Fluffmates so I tried them out with Angel Dei's shade and Fluffmates in Vacay. These are both in the warm, peachy coral-ish color spectrum.You can check my whole review on them in the video above.

If you are thinking of getting these to grow your nudes collection, then these are definitely a win for the budget and these colors suit most skintones, even if you are a mestisa or morena. (light or dark skin). It was worth it to get the whole collection for me, cause I also am living for the cute lipstick holder it comes with.
