A Look at Bioskin Coco and their Cruelty Free Skincare

Homegrown skincare, cruelty free and plantbased? That's Bioskin Coco for you! It is a Filipino skincare and cosmetics brand manufactured by Davao Bioskin Tech Laboratories Inc., a local ISO-certified manufacturing company based in Davao City, with over 20 years of manufacturing experience. 

Bioskin Coco takes pride in being one of the few beauty brands in the country that's plant-based and cruelty-free.

Bioskin Coco's products are specially formulated using quality-controlled fermented Virgin Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera) as the product's base and combined with various high-potency fruit acids directly derived from nature. Each product is formulated with plant-derived ingredients with antibacterial properties.

I recently got a couple of their skincare and makeup products. They have everything you need from toner, serum, cream and bar together with an extra sunblock. Here's what's in the box:

 

Pink Blush Sunblock Cream

One of the nicest smelling sunblock that I have ever tried. It protects skin with SPF 60, can be used on the face and body. 

Pink Moscato Day Cream

Placed in a very cute packaging with the look of pink icing! This is actually great for those with dry skin as it has Vitamin B3, Lactic acid, Collagen and SPF15. Those components make it easy for this everyday moisturizer to visibly reduce large pores, fine lines, and fix up uneven skin tone.

Margarita Face Serum

If you have acne scars, this serum is the one for you. It has pineapple extract, tea tree oil, and vitamin E to help improve skin elasticity. The ingredients also gently renew your complexion as it fights acne and lightens scars.

Coco Papaya Coconut Bar with Kojic & Gluta

If you need to even your body's skintone and lighten dark spots then this is the soap for you. It has the perfect blend of glutathione, kojic acid, zinc oxide, and vitamin B3 to brighten, moisturize, and leave skin glowing and nourished.

Aside from prividing quality, cruelty free skincare, Bioskin COCO also helped strengthen the country's coconut industry by using it in every product they produce. One of their initiatives is to source raw materials from local farmers. They also care for our planet by using PET packaging to be reused or upcycled.
