Opulence Design Concept Launches Jonathan Adler and Polspotten in the Philippines
Opulence Design Concept, the go-to destination for luxury homeware collections, proudly introduces the launch of Jonathan Adler and Polspotten in the Philippines. Renowned for their unique blend of creativity, craftsmanship, and functionality, these two globally celebrated brands redefine home design with bold statements and timeless sophistication.
To mark this milestone, Opulence Design Concept hosted a charity launch event at the Podium Mall and brought together design enthusiasts, tastemakers, and philanthropists. The evening celebrated not just the art of design but also the spirit of giving, with 5% of the proceeds pledged to Bosom Buddies Breast Cancer Support Group, a community founded in 1988 to support breast cancer survivors through holistic healing.
Representing this meaningful cause was Opulence Design Concept brand ambassador Heart Evangelista, who shared a heartfelt message about empowering women and fostering support networks for breast cancer survivors. “Opulence is luxury, but at the end of the day, we’re using this word for something that’s exactly that. Luxury [and] opulence is time—time with family, which is priceless. And this is what we’re here for tonight, to shop for ourselves but to ultimately, shed light on something really important,” said Heart.
In line with their mission of elevating spaces, Opulence Design Concept collaborated with celebrated Filipino creatives to bring Jonathan Adler and Polspotten’s bold and imaginative aesthetics to life. Acclaimed interior designer Rossy Rojales styled the showroom with Jonathan Adler’s vibrant and playful pieces, while Chat Fores curated Polspotten’s eclectic and striking designs. Together, they showcased how the collections from both brands can transform ordinary living spaces into unforgettable works of art.
A special auction benefiting Bosom Buddies also featured two Jonathan Adler vases hand-painted by local artists. One was created by Brazilian artist Ciane Xavier, known for blending traditional and contemporary techniques, while the other was crafted by Filipino interior designer and painter Tessa Alindogan, whose works have been showcased in prestigious venues like Leon Gallery.
These creative expressions of artistry and collaboration set the perfect stage to introduce Jonathan Adler and Polspotten to the local market. Jonathan Adler is celebrated for his whimsical and bold approach to design, characterized by handcrafted ceramics, vibrant patterns, and mid-century modern influences. Meanwhile, Polspotten is a brand from Amsterdam known for its playful and eclectic aesthetic, offering unique pieces that stand out as conversation starters.
“We are thrilled to bring Jonathan Adler and Polspotten to the Philippines,” said Opulence Design Concept owners Gerry and Jinky Sy. “These brands represent more than just beautiful design—they are about transforming homes and celebrating personal style. Through Opulence, we aim to make these extraordinary pieces accessible to Filipinos who seek to infuse their homes with character and artistry.”
With the recent addition of Jonathan Adler and Polspotten to its curated portfolio, the company continues to set the standard for redefining luxury interiors in the Philippines.
